What to expect

The majority of 果冻视频 therapy centers require a physician’s referral for occupational therapy. If you’re referred for therapy, your provider will write a referral or prescription and send it to the center of your choice. The 果冻视频 scheduling team will then reach out to schedule the first appointment.

To avoid unexpected costs, we recommend checking with your insurance to verify the requirements for coverage, as well as to confirm the total number of sessions covered by your plan.

We also offer financial assistance and self-pay options if you do not have insurance or occupational therapy is not covered by your plan.

Visit billing
During an occupational therapy appointment, the therapist reviews your medical history, assesses your functional abilities and discusses daily activities. They develop a personalized treatment plan with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve independence, safety and quality of life, monitoring and adjusting as needed.
Wear comfortable clothing, generally sweatpants or shorts if your condition involves a lower extremity. A sports bra or tank top is preferred for examination of your upper body. For specific treatments, we may ask you to put on a cotton hospital gown to protect your clothing, but this is not common.
Visits can last 30 - 60 minutes.

Be sure to bring the following to your therapy appointment:

  • Physician referral
  • Health insurance card
  • Photo ID (such as a driver's license)

Your therapist will send the initial evaluation report to your doctor within 48 hours of your first appointment. Progress reports will be sent every 30 days or before any appointments with your physician.
